Lizard Love

Happy Friday fellow stampers!!  Today I am bringing you this super fun Twisted Easel card.
I used the Leapin' Lizards and Be Mine sets.

I started by stamping the cute lizards and coloring them with Spectrum Noir markers and then fussy cut them out.  To make the Twisted Easel, you start with a square card folded on the side.  This one is 5 1/2" square.  You then score the front of the card base from the top right corner down to the bottom left corner.  I chose to layer white cardstock on top of the base card and then two different patterned papers.  Your focal point, in this case the heart with lizards, is placed in the center of the card and glued on the bottom right side only (the half of the heart that is on the green paper).

I added some liquid glass to the lizard's eyes and the tongue, some Stickles to their cheeks and spots and for a bit more sparkle there is a glitter doily behind the red heart.  I finished the heart off with some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
Now for the surprise to this card....it sort of twists open and rests on the heart greeting inside.

The heart is popped up with foam dots to allow the front of the card to "catch" behind it.  The greeting inside the card, along with the "x's" and "o's" are from the Be Mine set.  I used a clear Wink of Stella pen to add a little sparkle to the hearts inside of the "o's".
Valentine's Day will soon be here, I hope yours is filled with love.
Happy Stamping :)

Hey beautiful crafters! We are so glad you all are here today. I have a super fun Project Life project I wanted to share with you all.

Here I used one of my favorite Pretty Cute Stamp sets called Awesome Arrows.
On these two sections I used Any Better Than This.

Here is the whole page. I use to do the entire PL thing but I got overwhelmed. Here is my attempt at simplifying and I'm lovin' it!

Hope you are all having a great week!!!

Sneak Peek Day 6 Let's Spoon

Good morning friends. Larissa here and I am so excited to be showing you a sneak peek of the 6th stamp set being released this month.
"Let's Spoon"

It is one of my favorites this month. So many possibilities with this set.
I of course made it into a Valentine card.
I stamped the fork and spoon on a piece of white cardstock and colored them with my Copic markers. I stamped the faces and arms and legs on each as well.
I finished it off with a few of the little hearts from the set and of course some twine.

Stay tuned tomorrow for another peek and don't forget to come back Wednesday and Blog Hop with us. You could WIN for Subscribing and Commenting on each of our blogs.

Have a wonderful day friends.

Sneak Peek Day 5 - Great Chemistry!

Hi there! Karla here today, and you are sooo going to love the amazing stamps coming out this month!! I am so excited to share the Great Chemistry set with you today! Since Valentines is around the corner of course I had to make up some cute Valentine tags :)

I love paper piecing stamped images, and I love the way it looks like there are all kinds of amazing potions in these vials! I also used Gelliroll pens and Prismacolor Markers on my stamped images - I find the gel pens can add that bit of shine and hightlight to your project.

I hand cut the tags and punched the bottom with a lacy punch, and I also added some texture paste through a heart stencil. The cool part was adding silver glitter on top of the wet texture paste!

On the back of the tags I stamped all these super cool sentiments! So awesome!

I love the way this set can be used for Valentines, but is also so versatile. I can see using this set throughout the year for sure - birthdays, hello and love cards, and even Halloween!

I've also mentioned before how my 7 year old daughter loves lunch box notes! Well, of course I had to make some for her with the Great Chemistry set! And, of course, she loved them :)

I'm so glad you joined me today! Be sure to come back tomorrow for another sneak peek and then on Wednesday for the big Blog Hop January 2015 release! You will get to see a whole lot more fun projects and the stamp sets themselves - which will be available for purchase at the Pretty Cute Stamps store!

Sneak Peek Day 4 ~ Be Mine

Janna here and I thought I would shake things up a bit with this fun shaker card featuring the brand new stamps from the Be Mine set.
You will be able to see all of the stamps in this set on Wednesday along with
all of the other great sets in the January release, they will all be on sale too!

I stamped out a scattered heart background using the cute little solid heart stamp.

The glasses were stamped and heat embossed and then I added some liquid glass to the lenses.
There are red sequins, silver heart confetti and wiggly eyes to shake up!

Stamped the sentiment, added a few more little hearts and my card is finished!
Please join us for Pretty Cute Stamps January Release Blog Hop on Wednesday, it's going to
be a fun one!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Stamping :)

Sneak Peek Day 3~ Let's hang Einstein on the door...

Hey  beautiful crafters. Raven here and I am so excited to share with you all two projects that I made for the super fun sneak peeks over here at Pretty Cute Stamps...

First off I have to preface with saying, "I NEVER make anything for myself". Seriously, I just don't do it. But when I saw this stamp set I wanted it not only for me but for the whole family. We are a group of what we lovingly refer to as "nerds" and these nerds LOVE us some Einstein!

So, first up is a super cute door hanging for my craft room. I KINDA LOVE IT! ;)

Next up I used the uber adorable Salt and Pepper set to make this 3x3 word bubble card. I love to write the kiddos and the hubs little notes and leave them around the house for them to find so I thought this was a perfect set for that.

I hope you all have enjoyed my projects and please keep coming back we have peeks all the way until Wednesday which is the big hop!

Happy Crafting!

Sneak Peek Day 2 ~ Snack Time!!

Welcome to the 2nd day of our January Sneak Peeks!
You will love what Pretty Cute Stamps has cooked up for you this month!

This set has some flavorful images...Be sure to hop along with us on Wednesday to see more of the images! Just the "Happy Birthday" comes from Little Llama. Just think of the possibilities that "Poppin by to say..." could end with! So fun!!

I made this envelope to tuck in movie tickets/vouchers! Birthday for teens is getting tricky...and expensive. But...a couple of movie passes would make anyone happy!

Thanks again for stopping by today.

Sneak Peek Day 1 ~ Sprinkled with Fun

Hey, everyone! Happy Thursday! I'm so excited to bring you our first sneak peek for the January Pretty Cute Stamps Release. I decided to create a sweet little birthday card using the new Donut Worry stamp set, which will be available for purchase (and ON SALE) on January 21. Who needs birthday cake when they can have a birthday donut???

I love how this little card turned out. The card base is A2 sized...4.25" x 5.5". I colored the little donut and the party hat I got from the Dino-Mite stamp set with my Copic markers. I added a sentiment from the same Donut Worry stamp set, some doodles, and a pretty ribbon, and my card was all finished.

Thank you for stopping by today. Come back tomorrow for another sneak peek, and mark your calendar for our January 2015 Release Hop on Wednesday, January 21. Have a great day, everyone!
