Using Sentiments As Focal Images!

Karla here today, and I sure hope all of my US friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! We put up our tree and decorated for Christmas on Friday while we listened to Christmas music and had some very yummy snacks!

I'm sharing these cute cards and boxes today, and I wanted to let you know how I made them. I've been using a lot of the Heidi Swapp Believe paper this year and have also been enjoying the One Sheet Wonder video instructions by Angie at My Chic'n Scratch. I love that you can take one sheet of patterned paper and some cardstock to create all these projects!!

I used the sentiments from the Nativity 1 and Nativity 2 stamp sets, as well as one on the inside of my card (bottom photo) from the Oh, Christmas Tree set, by Pretty Cute Stamps as my focal images. They are beautiful sentiments and are printed in wonderful fonts. I absolutely love the adorable images, but I really wanted to focus on these amazing sentiments this time!

I love these cute little folded bags! The video link above shows you how to cut and fold all the pieces using just a scoring board and cutter. I love how CAS the cards are and even though I usually struggle with that style of card I am really happy with how they turned out. I think the sentiments really show up using these layouts. Below each card (bottom row) I've shown the coordinating inside sentiment.

Thanks so much for joining me today! Don't forget to check out our Gift Giving Challenge at this month and you could win yourself a fabulous gift certificate!

Birthday Gift Tag

Hi, and Happy Sunday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. I hope everyone is doing well.

Today I would like to share a Birthday tag I made using PCS "Dino-Mite" stamp set. I colored the dinosaur image with zig clean color real brush markers and used a fiskars x-acto knife to cut around his arms so that he could hold the DINO-MITE! I used white embossing powder for the "Hope your day is" and the sentiments are also from  PCS "Dino-Mite" stamp set.

Also don't forget this month theme challenge is Gift Giving. For more info and to link up your project click HERE.

Joy to The World

Hello Pretty Cute Stamp fans & Happy Saturday! It's Amber here, today I'm sharing a festive holiday card featuring stamps from the Nativity 2 stamp set. I've used this stamp set quite a bit since its release in October and I still can't get enough of it. The images in this set are just too cute! You can check out the entire stamp set below.

I stamped one of the wise men in the middle of a white die cut circle and added the "Joy To The World" sentiment all around the outside edge. I colored the cute little guy with some Close To My Heart markers and a gold Gelly Roll pen. After I had my image all colored I adhered the die cut circle to some red cardstock and some striped patterned paper. Before adhering all the layers to my cream card base I stapled some white ribbon to the right side and added a bow. I also added a cute little 3-D gold sticker to go along with the gold I added to his crown and treasure box.

I hope you enjoyed my festive little card today and don't forget you can share your Pretty Cute Stamps projects on the Pretty Cute Stamps Facebook Page or in the Pretty Cute Projects Facebook Group. Thanks for visiting!

Pumpkin Bread Basket

Happy Thanksgiving! Debbie from The Paper Garden here to share today. What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Since this is preposted, I'm not sure what we will be doing for Thanksgiving this year. I usually have it here, but my side of the family is just out growing our home and it doesn't seem fair for the littles to not be able to run around (and for the adults to deal with all the noise). Plans are to go to my niece's on DH's side, but there is bad weather in the forecast, so we will just have to see.

I have a quick and easy project that would make a lovely hostess gifts. I created this fun little basket from cardstock. Basket idea and how to make can be found here. I used the sentiment from Thanksgiving Eats. Can you tell this is one of my favorite sets?! LOL

Inside the basket is a mini loaf of pumpkin bread. I love how it fits perfectly in there! I lined the bottom with wax paper and then used 2 kraft colored coffee filters, before setting the bread in. I will wrap the bread in clear plastic wrap before gifting. Thanks for stopping by. Take time today to count your blessings. You will find them to be many.

Thank you!!!!

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!!
Amy here today sharing a super cute card I made using Thanksgiving Eats!!!

Thanksgiving in America is upon us and I will be celebrating it with my family tomorrow so I thought making a cute hostess card would be perfect for my post this week.  This stamp set is perfect for cards all year long, you could use the pumpkin for Halloween and use the pie for a birthday card.  I love it when you are able to use stamp sets for more then just one occasion.
I enjoyed fussy cutting out that piece of pie and coloring it up with my copic markers, I thought the sentiment was perfect for this card, there were so many to choose from on this set but I liked this one the best it was perfect for what I had in mind for my card.

I hope you have enjoyed some inspiration today and to find this set and other fun stamp sets please visit us at Pretty Cute Stamps!!!

Giving Thanks!

Hey PCS fans, Melissa here today to give thanks.  Or rather to show you an easy way to give thanks. During holiday and family times we often get so caught up in all the activities we just say 'thanks' and move on.  This holiday take the time to create a simple 'thank you' card or tag.  The recipient will have a lasting smile remembering that you thought enough to give a special thanks to them.

I used stamp set Thanksgiving Eats.

Thanks for visiting today!  Don't forget to check out the PCS store to see the November release stamps!

Make GNOME Mistake...

I think you're GREAT! I love the Gnomies stamp set so much! So many cute images in this set! I double stamped the girl (once on patterned paper) so that I could cut out her apron and hat and have it have the floral design. She is just so sweet don't you think?

I added a little glass gem for the top of her hat and a wee bit of sparkle to her hair and she was just the way I wanted her!

Merry Christmoose

Hello friends. Larissa here today with a new Christmas card. I think this is one of my favorite card making holidays. I actually am using three different sets for this card.
I am using

So I stamped all the images on to a piece of white cardstock and colored them using Sprectrum Noir markers. I cut each one out using a pair of detailed scissors.

I took a piece of watercolor paper and trimmed it to 4 x 5 1/4. I used a few different shades of Artist Loft watercolors to make my background.

I adhered the images to the watercolor paper using liquid adhesive and then popped the Igloo up with foam tape.

I added a few snowflakes and a sentiment to the card front using white embossing powder.

I hope you enjoyed my post today.
Have a wonderful day friends.
