Pocket Letter Heaven

Hey beautiful crafters!

Raven Here today and I have to share something...I am currently in Pocket Letter Heaven. I do that. I get into something and then I ride that train until I no longer want to be on it and then I move onto something else. I'm currently on three rides 1. My planner and decorating it (More on that soon) 2. Bible Journaling (I'm obsessed with reading and journaling scripture and a small secret (I'm not uber religious) Yeah I'm just trying to find my place and I think scriptures will help! Plus I don't actually have a journaling bible so I'm just marking mine up at present but I'm learning. :) 3. Pocket Letters There is something so calming about making a special gift for someone else and in the process making a new friend that I can send goodies to and hear about their family and all that fun stuff. 

So here we are this week let me share with you all a Pocket Letter that I just made using the Sea Life Sentiments & Sip Enjoy and Relax Stamp sets from Pretty Cute Stamps. 

My mission on this one was to ONLY use scraps. I accomplished that and I love how it turned out. I pulled some of my favorite punches and my sizzix die cut machine and got to work. A Pocket Letter friend of mine sent me the diamond goodie and the cute little Polaroid in the bottom so that's where those came from.

Bubbling Over..

A happy belated Mother's Day to all you women...whether you are mothers or motherly!

We all know that mothers are very special and very important!

For my SWEET Friend

Good morning friends. Larissa here with you today with a fun card featuring JUST CHILL.

I started off stamping the pushup pop all over a piece of white 110 lb cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment and a couple of the popsicles around the card. I then colored them all using my Copic markers.

I then die cut a circle and stamped all the popsicles on the inside. I also colored them with my copic markers. I covered them with Diamond Stickles.

I finished off the card with twine.

Poppin' By To Say.... Hello!

Karla here today and I simply had to share this darling card with you today! I just realized I really haven't pulled out this Pretty Cute Stamp set -Snack Time enough! It is so darling with the adorbs popcorn, pop and pizza. I'm totally planning a scrapbook pocket page with this popcorn and some movie tickets.... But that's for next time ;)

 I paper pieced the popcorn container and added some Souffle gel pens to colour in the face and then added some shading with a Prismacolor Marker. I added a little Shimmer Spritz gold spray flicked onto the background around my popcorn - 'cause who doesn't like a little extra butter?!

I 'popped' my popcorn off the page with foam dots and added extra popcorn pieces around the page! I just love the two extra sizes of kernels in the stamp set.

This sentiment could lead into so many others - Happy Birthday, HI, Happy Father's Day.... hmmm!

Inside, I used the Pretty Cute Stamps set Let's Talk for the speech bubble and the Hello - I think everyone needs a 'Hello' script stamp - and this set goes so well with all the PCS sets!!

Princess Gnomie

Happy May!!!  Today I have something fun and different!

I looked at the Gnomies set from Pretty Cute Stamps and decided that the little girl gnome could easily be turned into a princess, so that's just what I did.  I stamped her into a cute little princess and made her the focus of this sun catcher :)

The base of the sun catcher is made using two rosettes and two scalloped-punched pieces glued back to back.  I used nylon fishing line as the hanging piece.

I used Memento black ink to stamp the little girl and the flowers and then colored them with Spectrum Noir markers.  Sparkle was added with Stickles and Wink of Stella.  I repeated this for the back side also.

One rosette is pink and the other green.

To finish off the sun catcher, I glued on the little flower pieces that were cut out with the rosette die and put pretty embellishments from Queen & Co. in the centers.  A pretty glass bobble is at the bottom to give it some weight and to sparkle when the sun hits it.

This was such a fun project to create.  I hope I have inspired you to take another look at what you can create with your stamps!

Shrink plastic ~ I'm hooked!

Hey friends! I have a confession. I'm totally obsessed with Shrink Plastic. No really! It's such a problem I don't even want to stop as I love it so much. 

So I also have another love...my planner. Do you all plan? I've found it such an addictive thing to do. I have three young kiddos who stay pretty active, along with volunteer stuff and work so I NEED something that keeps me organized. I recently found this amazing planning community and I decorate my planner and add all kinds of yummy goodness to it. 

So with that being said I grabbed the ADORABLE stamp set from Pretty Cute Stamps called Milk and Cookies and stamped it onto some shrink plastic. I colored in the images with my prismacolor colored pencils and then used my heat emboss tool to shrink them. Then I added a little bit of E6000 onto the back of the paperclip and glued those babies on! They still looked a little too plain for my taste so I added a bit of glitter glue (stickles) to the top on the blue section and the chocolate chips. 

I just love them. I need to make some stickers now and maybe something else uber fun! Ideas...ideas...

4 square cards

Here is a great way to kick start your stamping mojo...

Use a classic layout.

Here, I created 2 cards using the "four square" layout. 

But each card is a little different.

Sometimes the sentiment is highlighted,

as it is here in this card which uses Pretty Cute Stamps: Bushels of Fun set.

I just love gingham! 

and eyelets...and kraft...and sequins...

Or, you can repeat an image...

a nice graphic look...

This card features the Forest Friends set.

Of course, colors, patterns, and shapes of each panel also change the look of the card!
