The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow - Get Well Card!

Hello! Karla here today to share a cute get well card with you, and since it is officially Spring I thought the PCS Rain Or Shine clear stamp set would be the perfect thing to use! I recently went through all my patterned paper and found this cute umbrella paper in my stash - it immediately made me think of this adorable stamp set!

I stamped the umbrella on some patterned paper and used my Prismacolor and Hobby Colour Markers to add some colour to the edges and handle before popping up with foam dots.  I really love the font on 'The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow' sentiment from the set!

I've been playing around with my new Distress Oxide Inks and created a background with some fun splatters! These inks are awesome!! I used my CTMH oval cutting system to cut out a piece of the background along with a black mat. I love the way the sunshine stamp in the Rain Or Shine stamp set peeks out from behind the umbrella! I added some yellow marker colour on the sun and then dropped some Glossy Accents over the oval and umbrella to look like rain drops.

I tied a pretty blue silk ribbon and added my favourite sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps!

I love all the fun sentiments in this set - and this was perfect for my get well card, and these little rubber boots are so adorable with a matching paper pieced print!

Doesn't this card just make you feel happier?!! I know it makes me smile :)

Stitched With Love Card!

Hi friends! Karla here today. I hope you all enjoyed a relaxing weekend with a bit of crafty time for yourself. I'm sharing a card with you today using the Pretty Cute Stamps Sew Amazing stamp set. I love to sew, but don't do it often enough right now - however, this stamp set lets me have fun with all the stitchy elements and play with paper too!

I started off by cutting a Project Life card down a bit. It already had this fun, funky stitching printed right on it! Perfect! I used some Distress Ink to sponge some colour around the edge before adding it to a folded card. I love the Stitched With Love sentiment from the stamp set and stamped it directly onto the PL card. I used my circle punches to punch out a few fun patterned paper items and added a stamped button from the set.

I stamped the fun sewing machine in the set directly onto my background as well as on a piece of Maggie Holmes patterned paper. Then, I fussy cut around the main part of the patterned paper stamped image before adding it to my background. A bit of coloured pencil highlighted the edges. You can see that I added some glittery purple thread onto my spool before attaching it!

Inside, I used the piece of the PL card I cut from the front and stamped the Just For You sentiment, also in the set. I added some zigzag and running stitches stamps and some stamped buttons that I used Distress Inks to colour. I wrapped some more shiny purple thread directly onto my cut out spool before adding it inside the card as well.

A few sequins, a pretty button and a couple rhinestones from my stash, add a bit of bling!

Paper-piecing with Thanksgiving Eats

Hello, Pretty Cute Stamps friends! Who else is ready for fall? I know that it is around the corner. I cannot wait for the weather. And most of all the food!
For today's card, I am using the new Thanksgiving Eats stamp set.
Thanksgiving Eats
I love the cute food images in this set. Perfect for coloring and even more perfect for paper-piecing!

Sometimes I have a hard time determining if certain prints go together with each other. So to make that task easier, I love using 6x6 paper pads.  To paper-piece the images, I started off stamping the images on several different prints. Once all the images are cut out, it is time to assemble the images together using the different prints.

Did you see the new Pretty Cute Stamps Challenge? This month's challenge is to 'Include a Button'. Check out the details, HERE!
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!

The Whole Box of Crayons!

Hi there, Karla here today! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! I wanted to share this watercolour background card with you today using the Pretty Cute Stamps set Color My World.

I used Distress Stains in the new Mermaid Lagoon and Citrus Twist along with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink on a craft sheet to watercolour a background before layering my stamped images and sentiment on top. I really love this sentiment! After I stamped it I cut banner ends and popped it up in the center with foam dots.

I paper pieced the crayon box and crayon with various papers from 6x6 paper pads and then used Distress Markers to create shadows around the edges. How adorable are these faces?!!

Inside, I added another sentiment and two more cute crayons!

Here's a look at everything that's in the stamp set:
