You're Freakin' Jawsome

Hello, friends. Larissa here with you today with a card I made from one of my new favorite sets
Jawsome.

I started off stamping 2 of the shark images on a piece of 110 lb cardstock and colored them with my Copic markers.
I then decided to make a shaker card. So I die cut a rectangle frame and added a clear sheet behind it. I added 2 layers of foam tape to pop it up.

I added sequins and little fish to the shaker part. I found some pattern paper that looked like waves and used it for the base. I added the other shark on the outside of the frame. I love the way it turned out.

I didn't add anything else to the card front as I felt it might take away from the card.
What do you think?

Don't forget we have our new monthly challenge is going on now.
Head over to our blog and join in the fun.

Have a wonderful day friends.

Stitched With Love!

Happy Monday everyone! Karla back today - using one of the new sets from the June/July release Sew Amazing. I love all the fun little details that come with this set!! I used the straight stitch stamp around the edge of some Cosmo Cricket paper using Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Then I stamped some buttons on patterned paper circles before punching out with a circle punch. I added a sweet vintage looking patterned image from the paper pack that I 'glittered' the edges of and then popped up my buttons to surround it.

The sewing machine image was stamped from the Sew Amazing set onto a tag that was part of the paper pack as well as on some patterned paper, which I then cut out and glued to my tag. I dipped the bottom of my tag into glitter to add a fun effect, and then I stamped a sentiment from the set under my tag. I love the script on this stamp!

I used the zig zag stamp from the set as well as some more buttons and another sentiment to the inside before edging with some Distress Ink.

Here's a look at this awesome set!

Thanks so much for joining me today! Don't forget to stop over at the Pretty Cute Stamps store to see all the goodies there too! I hope you have a beautiful week with a little time for yourself to have some crafty fun :)

Artist Trading Card

Hi Stampers!  Have you joined in the fun of ATC's (Artist Trading Cards)?  They are little works of art you create and trade with others, just like baseball cards.

All you have to do is cut your card in the size of 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 and then create!  Most people like to keep the design pretty flat so the card can be stored in a pocket page, but you can do a little embellishing if you like.

I decided to make an ATC for my post today because we trade them monthly at the stamp club I belong to and we meet this weekend.  Perfect timing to coincide with this blog post!!  We are using the alphabet as our guide to theme and this month our ATC needs to have something starting with the letter "G".  I thought the Pretty Cute Stamps set Gnomies would work just perfect!

I used Distress inks to create the background and then stamped and colored all of the images, fussy cut them out and glued them on.  I used some Liquid Applique on the gnome's beard and then heat set it to make it puff up.  I hope whoever receives this ATC will like it! :)

Happy Stamping!

Janna

Crocheted With Love!

Karla here today, and I am having an awesome summer. I really hope you all are too! I'm not getting quite as much craftiness in as I normally would, but I started to bring a crochet project along with me when I take the kids to the park. This way I can work on something that's easily portable and feel like I'm accomplishing something while they play.

Since my project is still ongoing (I'll share it when I'm done!), it did get me in the mood to create a sweet card and tag that I can attach to my gift when it's complete. I am love, love, loving this adorable Pretty Cute Stamps set Knit Happens. Ok, how cute is the name of this set!!

I used some Cosmo Cricket paper from the Odds and Ends collection I picked up quite a while ago for the background of my card and tag. The balls of yarn were stamped on a background that I created on watercolour paper with Distress Inks and water on a craft sheet using a smooshing technique. I love how the colours blended together! I added some Ranger Clear Rock Candy Distress Stickles to add glitter to my yarn and popped some of the balls up with foam tape.

I absolutely adore this little teensy crochet hook!! I used Glossy Accents on it after tucking it into my basket for a shiny look.

On the tag you can see more glittery fun on my yarn and the cute hearts included in the set. I popped up the yarn label after adding the super sweet face! I just love the little faces that come in this set <3

Here's a look at my tag tied around a crocheted tea cozy that I made a while back. While this isn't the project I'm going to be giving away, it is something you can get the free pattern from on Ravelry to make your own!

Here's a look at all the awesomeness included in this stamp set! Whether you knit, crochet or just like yarn - you know what I'm talking about! - this is an incredible set to have. You can pop over to the Pretty Cute Stamps store to see all the cuteness just waiting to create with!

Pretty Cute Stamps Birthday Challenge

Happy Saturday, everyone! Welcome to another Pretty Cute Stamps Monthly Challenge. YAY! The theme this month is Birthday. So, we want to see any birthday project you create using Pretty Cute Stamps. My wonderful Design Team and I have created some fun inspiration projects for you. First, I'll show you those, and then I'll tell you more about the challenge.

For my project I created a rockin' birthday card that would be perfect for a guy, I think.

I got the guitar and sentiment from the Rock On stamp set, and I paper pieced the guitar to match my patterned paper. I used digital papers that I printed for the patterns. Some of the papers are from the Cosmo Cricket Half Way Cafe and the Cosmo Cricket Haunted Paper Packs.

Okay, now for the fabulous birthday projects my amazing Design Team members created. Be sure to click on their names to find out all of the details about their projects and leave them a little bloggy love.

SALE!!!!!!

I think it's about time for a Pretty Cute Stamps SALE!!!

Super Fun Day

Hello Friends. Larissa back with you today with a Super Fun card for a friend to Have a Super Fun Day!
I am using the set SUPERHERO'S.

I stamped the images onto a piece of 110 lb white cardstock and colored them with my Copic markers. I stamped a few of the stars around and colored them as well.
I wanted to look like these little guys were flying high in the sky so I die cut a sun and a few clouds and adhered them to the card.

To give it a little shine I added glitter glaze to the sun and clouds and added a few red sequins to finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed my post today.
Have a SUPER FUN day friends.
