Jawsome Birthday Shark

Hi everyone, and cold greetings from Lena in Sweden. Well, not super cold but still kinda cold. Clear sky and a little snow flying around, refusing to land ;-)

I recently started using ZIG Clean Color Real Brush pens and this is the first card I made with these. I love the pens and this lil' shark turned out super cute with the bright colors.

I wanted to make a one-layer card so the everything is painted on the same paper. I started with the shark and when she was dry I did the background by scribbeling different colors before adding water. The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder on top of the background colors.
The shark and cute sentiment is from the stamp set "Jawsome". Stop by the Pretty Cute Stamps store and get yourself a set :-)

Have a great day!

Freakin' Jawsome!!!

Happy midsummer! (a very swedish holiday).  Hope your weekend was good :-)

I am Lena from Lena pysslar and this is my first blog post for Pretty Cute stamps.

Today I'm showing a card made with a super cute shark from the clear stamp set called "Jawsome", which is still available in the PSC shop.

I colored it with Spectrum Noir markers and the water is made with distress inks. The jawsome sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Wishing you a lovely, jawsome day ♥

I only have EYES for you!

Hello friends. Larissa here today with a Valentine card for you.
I used two stamp sets for this card. I used Be Mine and Jawsome.

I started off stamping the shark image from Jawsome on a piece of white cardstock and colored it with my Copic markers.
I used: C1, C3, C5.
I then stamped the glasses from Be Mine over her eyes.

I stamped the envelope image and colored it using Copic markers R24, R35, R46. I used my Exacto knife and cut a slit in the shark to be able to slide the envelope right in.
I went around the glasses with my Spica glitter pen. It is hard to see of course in the picture.

I used a few sheets of glitter paper and added a piece of glitter ribbon in a bow across the bottom of the card. To finish it off I added a few black sequins.

I hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a wonderful day friends.

You're Freakin' Jawsome

Hello, friends. Larissa here with you today with a card I made from one of my new favorite sets
Jawsome.

I started off stamping 2 of the shark images on a piece of 110 lb cardstock and colored them with my Copic markers.
I then decided to make a shaker card. So I die cut a rectangle frame and added a clear sheet behind it. I added 2 layers of foam tape to pop it up.

I added sequins and little fish to the shaker part. I found some pattern paper that looked like waves and used it for the base. I added the other shark on the outside of the frame. I love the way it turned out.

I didn't add anything else to the card front as I felt it might take away from the card.
What do you think?

Don't forget we have our new monthly challenge is going on now.
Head over to our blog and join in the fun.

Have a wonderful day friends.

A Jawsome Day!

Karla here today! I am LOVIN' playing with these adorable stamps from Pretty Cute Stamps! I am so honoured to be on the Design Team with all the other super talented members, and I am so excited to be able to bring you all some inspiration!

For my first Design Team post I chose the super cute stamp set Jawsome to work with.  I love all the coordinating sentiments - so many possibilities! Here in Canada our summer seems so short, so I want to enjoy every minute of it - seeing this palm tree made me think of a hot, holiday getaway and I had to use it in coordination with a Polaroid photo scene.

I created my own background by stamping a bunch of the sentiments with Pumice Stone Distress Ink on a gray paper to create a tone-on-tone effect.

I stamped this cute shark on white paper and used Prismacolor Markers, which are alcohol based, to colour him in.  I pieced my background together - the sky is a white cardstock sponged with Distress Inks in pink and orange to create a sunset sky, the water is a patterned paper I cut with 'wave' scissors that I've had in my stash for-EVER, lol and edged with Salty Ocean Distress Ink, and the sand is an embossed piece of paper using Shabby White Stampendous embossing powder - I love the flecks of gold in it!

I popped up the frame, which I cut with my Cricut Gyspy, and the shark head to give some dimension.

I couldn't resist making just one more! I used the cute girl hammerhead shark for this one, layering the background as above and using some Simple Stories papers.  She is so sweet!

I coloured her in with Prismacolor Markers again and added a little coloured pencil blush to her cheeks. I tucked her in between the waves and popped the top of her head and her tail up with foam dots.

Inside I white heat embossed one sentiment from Jawsome and the wish sentiment from the fabulous Wish Big stamp set.

I hope you all enjoy a wonderful week, full of sunshine and craftiness!
