Donut Birthday Card!

Hi crafty friends!! Karla here today to share a cute donut card using the Donut Worry, Be Happy stamp from Pretty Cute Stamps. My 10 year old daughter, Amie went to a friend's birthday party on the weekend at a doughnut shop called Jelly Modern Doughnuts. The kids had a blast decorating donuts! Of course, I thought it only fitting that her little friend got a 'Donut' card ;)

This sentiment, included in the set, is one of my favourites!

I stamped these happy donuts on watercolour paper and watercoloured them in - they look so 'sweet'!

Inside, I used two sentiments from the Wish Big Pretty Cute Stamps set.

I really love decorating the envelope, even if it's with a quick sentiment and image stamped with coloured ink! I added some fun sequins - perfect in keeping with the 'sprinkled' theme.

Here's a look at the amazing donuts Amie decorated at her friend's birthday party. She did a great job, and they were very yummy too!

Here are the two stamp sets I used today:

Big Birthday Hugs

Hello friends. Larissa here today with a Birthday card idea for you. For this card I used the

I stamped one of the images on an oval piece of white cardstock I die cut. I colored the image using Copic markers.
I used:
Skin: E50, E21, R20
Hair: E23, E25
Cake: E31, E33, R24, B18
Clothes and Hat: R24, R27, B18, B21

I used some patten paper from my scrap basket. I think it is Echo Park. I matted the card front on a piece of SU Real Red cardstock then adhered it to a white card base.

This set comes with four images and eight sentiments. A very cute set for Birthday's.

I hope you enjoyed my post today. Have a wonderful day friends.

Wish Big!

Hi friends, Joann here sharing my first Pretty Cute Stamps Design Team project!

I'm sharing a birthday card that I made using the Wish Big stamp set!

I took the Wish Big SVG Outline and used watercolor paper to cut my cute little birthday girl. I stamped my image with the coordinating stamp set and used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to color my image. Absolutely nothing fancy, just wanted to have fun with it!

I also took the Make a Wish! sentiment from the same stamp set and slightly curved it onto my clear block to create a fun sentiment look around my circle. I finally added my image to my card with some foam adhesive and finished it off with some sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping, I hope you enjoyed today's card!

Have a wonderful day!

Customer Feature ~ Kathy Gillon

TGIF, everyone! I have a fun little card that a customer and friend of mine shared in the Pretty Cute Projects Facebook Group.

Kathy Gillon from Kathy and Kids used a sentiment from the Wish Big Stamp Set on this sweet little shaped card. Kathy shows that so many of the sentiments on Pretty Cute Stamps work really well with die cuts, too. You can find all of the details for Kathy's project on her blog post HERE.

I also want to invite you to share your Pretty Cute Stamps projects with us. You can share on the Pretty Cute Stamps Facebook Page or in the Pretty Cute Projects Facebook Group. Also, if you are part of the Splitcoaststampers Community, you can add the keyword PrettyCuteStamps (no spaces) to your Pretty Cute Stamp project photos (we're hoping to get enough projects added so we can have our own little gallery there). I'll be looking for projects that are shared with us to post here on our blog. I'm hoping to post a PCS Customer Feature at least every other Friday, so please show us your beautiful Pretty Cute Stamps projects. If you don't share with us, I can share your projects here. So share, share away! :)

YAY! It's Your Birthday!

TGIF, everyone! I hope your Friday is FABULOUS! I have a sweet little masculine birthday tag to share with you today.

This sweet little birthday boy and the sentiments are all from the Pretty Cute Stamps Wish Big stamp set. I colored his hair and skin with my Copic markers and paperpieced the other parts (I think I may have been crazy to do that...but I LOVE the way it turned out). I think the colors turned out to be great for a little boy's gift. The tag shape is from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Layered Tags 1 Cutting Files, and the pretty London Blue ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

A Jawsome Day!

Karla here today! I am LOVIN' playing with these adorable stamps from Pretty Cute Stamps! I am so honoured to be on the Design Team with all the other super talented members, and I am so excited to be able to bring you all some inspiration!

For my first Design Team post I chose the super cute stamp set Jawsome to work with.  I love all the coordinating sentiments - so many possibilities! Here in Canada our summer seems so short, so I want to enjoy every minute of it - seeing this palm tree made me think of a hot, holiday getaway and I had to use it in coordination with a Polaroid photo scene.

I created my own background by stamping a bunch of the sentiments with Pumice Stone Distress Ink on a gray paper to create a tone-on-tone effect.

I stamped this cute shark on white paper and used Prismacolor Markers, which are alcohol based, to colour him in.  I pieced my background together - the sky is a white cardstock sponged with Distress Inks in pink and orange to create a sunset sky, the water is a patterned paper I cut with 'wave' scissors that I've had in my stash for-EVER, lol and edged with Salty Ocean Distress Ink, and the sand is an embossed piece of paper using Shabby White Stampendous embossing powder - I love the flecks of gold in it!

I popped up the frame, which I cut with my Cricut Gyspy, and the shark head to give some dimension.

I couldn't resist making just one more! I used the cute girl hammerhead shark for this one, layering the background as above and using some Simple Stories papers.  She is so sweet!

I coloured her in with Prismacolor Markers again and added a little coloured pencil blush to her cheeks. I tucked her in between the waves and popped the top of her head and her tail up with foam dots.

Inside I white heat embossed one sentiment from Jawsome and the wish sentiment from the fabulous Wish Big stamp set.

Be sure to check out the stamp sets featured today in the store!

I hope you all enjoy a wonderful week, full of sunshine and craftiness!
