Back To School

Hello friends. Larissa here with you today with a fun Back To School card set.
I used 3 different stamp sets.
ADORKABLE
THE WRITE STUFF 
BACK TO SCHOOL 

Card 1: I covered the entire background with the small apples and colored them using Copic markers. I cut the larger apple and popped it up on the card front over the sentiment using foam tape.

Card 2: I stamped the images from The Write Stuff stamp set as the background and colored them using Copic markers. I adhered the bus from Back To School set on the card front with foam tape.

Card 3: I stamped the images from Adorkable on the card front and colored them using Copic markers.

Card 4: I stamped the small book for the background and popped the little girl on the front with foam tape.

Card 5: For the final card I used images from Back To School and The Write Stuff on the card front. 

This would be a cute set to give several teachers on the first day or giving it to the same teacher all year for different occasions  or just to say HI.

Super Excited for School

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!! Amy here and I'm so excited to be sharing my first post for Pretty Cute Stamps!!!

Since September is when many kids go back to school I thought I would make a fun back to school card for you!!!

Pretty Cute Stamps are so fun to mix and match like I have done with this card. I used SuperHeroes and Back to School for this fun card!!!  I colored her using my copic markers, I love the color combo, such a bright fun card.  The stars and numbers are cut from my silhouette, the numbers made the perfect border for this fun back to school card!!!!

Back To School Fun!

Hi everyone! Karla here today bringing you some more back to school goodness! Yesterday was my 7 year old's first day of Grade 2! I don't think I was quite ready for all the back to school hustle and bustle!

She loves it when I send little notes in her lunch bag, and I usually draw something on a napkin and write her a little message. This year I thought I would send a cute mini lunch box note every once in a while as well, and these stamps with their funny and sweet sentiments were just the thing to decorate them with!

I stamped the images on some vanilla cardstock cut at 2 1/2" square. I rounded the corners and coloured them in with Prismacolor Markers and Jellyroll Glaze and Soufflé pens. I added a little sparkle with the Jellyroll clear glitter pen.

These were so fun to create for my daughter - I know she will appreciate them and they'll brighten her day!

PCS August Release Blog Hop

Happy HUMP DAY everyone, and welcome to the Pretty Cute Stamps August 2014 Release Blog Hop. YAY! My wonderful Design Team and I have some super fun projects to show you today that we created using the very newest PCS stamps.

Oh, and here's some more exciting news! SVG Outlines for the images on each of these new sets are now available in the store. So, if you're not one who likes fussy-cutting around images and has access to a digital cutting machine that can use SVG files, these could be a great resource for you. I'll be working on getting SVG Outlines in the store for previous sets as soon as I can.  The stamp images are not included with these files...you need the stamp sets for those.

Okay, now...here's my project using the little Color My World set. I decided to create a sweet little gift for my daughter's 5th grade teacher.

I decided to create a simple little gift by making a cover for a box of Skittles. The cover is simply kraft cardstock that I wrapped around the box (I scored it first in the appropriate places to make folding it easier). Before I secured it with adhesive, I used the crayon stamp and some VersaMark watermark ink to create a subtle background. I colored the crayon box and crayons with my Copic markers and adhered them to the cover using foam tape. Then, I stamped the fun sentiment from the same Color My World set on a speech bubble that I had left over from another project. I added a pretty ribbon and some doodles, and my quick teacher gift was all done.

August Release Sneak Peek!



Hello and Happy Saturday crafty friends!  It's Kendra and it is finally time for me to reveal a little Sneak Peek of one of the new August Stamp Releases for Pretty Cute Stamps!  The August releases are really fabulous and have so much versatility - you're gonna love 'em! :)

Without further adieu.....here's a design I created using "Adorkable"!

Can I say how much I love this little girl with the glasses?!  Cutie Patootie!!  I wear glasses (only at night lol) and my hubby says this image reminds him of me when I have mine on....what? lol   This color combo is one of my very favorites and I think works really well here! 

I decided to break up the sentiment....which I think looks really great! I used my Sakura Stardust pen to outline the books, her dress and the apple just for a little extra sparkle.  I had a mini apple punch laying around I got from ebay way back in the day and I decided to use it....which adds a little pop of dimension.   All the supplies used in my design are listed below. :)
