Tea Time!

It's time for a spot of tea!  Would you like a biscuit with yours?

Seriously, I am a tea drinker and I just love this sweet Tea-rrific Set!

The open design of the stamps make them just right for paper piecing, which is exactly what I did for this card.

First I stamped and embossed the teapot and teacup with gold and then stamped the images again onto the patterned paper and pieced them onto the embossed images.  I used Spectrum Noir markers to do the coloring.  The background is a piece of 6x6 paper that I cut and layered to get the border at both the top and bottom.

When putting the greeting stamp onto the stamping block, I curved it to get just the right shape to fit where I wanted it on the front of the card.

Of course I had to add a little bling and a pretty heart doily.

Snail Mail Revolution!!!

Hey beautiful crafters! Raven here today to share with you something special that I LOVE doing!

I'm tempted to use a ridiculous amount of hashtags in this post! BE WARNED. Don't worry I kid!

So I'm lovin' the Pocket Letter craze going on right now but to be honest my favorite part is the letter. Getting to know someone else and sharing pieces of your life. Having friends all over the country and abroad is such a cool thing. So there is a huge #snailmail community on instagram. You have to check it out if it is something you are interested in.

So this is the full view of the goodie Pen Pals package going out minus the letter of course.

Okay, here's my project using the Superheroes Stamp Set. Earlier in the week, I showed you a little treat box I created for my daughter's teacher (who has had a superhero theme in her classroom all year). Well, I needed a card to go along with that treat box so I could write her a proper thank you. :)

I colored this sweet flying girl with my Copic markers. The City Skyline is a cutting file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons that I printed and cut with my Silhouette Cameo. I stamped the SUPER sentiment on a speech bubble from the Let's Talk Stamp Set. I popped up the little super girl and the speech bubble with some foam tape, and my card was all done!

Sneak Peek Day 3

TGIF, everyone! Well...here we are. It is our final day of sneak peeks for the new May stamps. I just love the projects for today, which feature two more stamp sets that will be available to purchase tomorrow, so I'll just get right to them:

Sneak Peek Day 2

Woo HOO! It's time for another day of sneak peeks! Today's stamps are near and dear to my heart. I started my first little company (Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons) with some superhero cutting files, so I'm so excited to be able to create a couple of stamp sets that will go along perfectly with them (and have some pretty cute images of their own). These two stamp sets will be available for purchase on Saturday (and on SALE)!!!

First, I want to show you this little treat box that I decorated with the new Super Sentiments stamp set. I created this for my youngest daughter's teacher and filled it with her favorite candy. The fifth grade class at her school has a "superhero" theme, so this little treat was perfect for her.
